The AESF and the Pan American Esports Confederation ("PAMESCO") have entered into a historic cooperation agreement with the aim of improving the quality and professional governance of Esports between both organizations.
Since 2016, PAMESCO has been involved in the development of the Esports ecosystem. As part of the strategic agreement between AESF and PAMESCO, several key areas of cooperation have been identified, including advancing the Olympic Movement, Esports development, and Esports recognition.
Both parties will also collaborate to develop educational and training programs for athletes, coaches, and Esports professionals globally. The focus will include research cooperation aimed at enhancing the comprehension and quality of Esports.
AESF Director General, Sebastian Lau, expressed his excitement for the partnership saying, "As the leading Esports federation in Asia, the AESF is excited to collaborate with PAMESCO. Our partnership will foster greater collaboration between our organizations, creating a wide range of opportunities for the development of Esports in both regions. Through joint events and educational programs, we will continue to support the growth of Esports worldwide and create a more professional and sustainable ecosystem for athletes, coaches, and professionals alike.”

BUENOS AIRES, July 15, 2021 - The government of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires once again surprises with an event that prioritizes education, training and competition in electronic sports and the development of video games.
Videogames Academy is an innovative, dynamic and virtual initiative organized by the Ministry of Economic Development and Production through the General Directorate of Youth Policies of the City that aims to introduce young people to the industry and encourage them to be the future protagonists of the gaming world.
Videogames Academy will take place during July and August, and until July 22, 2021 people between 14 and 30 years old can register in this link to be able to participate. This project is planned based on three main verticals: entertainment, training and good habits.
First pillar: that of entertainment, is characterized by the fact that participants can compete and learn about FREE-FIRE, FORNITE, and LEAGUE OF LEGENDS games. The competitive categories are diverse and include more than four thousand participants.
Second pillar: related to training, will be delivered through talks in digital format related to the introduction to the industry, job opportunities in the gaming world, communication and streaming, and video game marketing. There will also be a space to learn about video game development and design. The closing of this stage will be through an interview with a professional ESPORT player.
Third and last pillar: good habits, focuses on interviews with professionals on Esports and family, sedentary lifestyle and obesity, toxicity and anxiety, sleep management, ergonomics and exercises, and player psychology.
The City’s Government has the support of leading organizations in the electronic sports and video games industry. On the one hand, the Association of Electronic Sports and Videogames of Argentina (DEVA) will be in charge of managing the training on the ESPORT industry and good practices, as well as organizing the competitions.
On the other hand, the software development company Globant will be in charge of the video game design and programming training together with the Inter-American Open University. In turn, it will have the support of the Da Vinci school.
This project aims to set a precedent and its organization shows how Argentina is on the way to professionalize electronic sports. The participation of graduates in psychology, in communication, and the intervention of civil organizations such as DEVA demonstrates the seriousness with which this project is carried out by the Government of the City of Buenos Aires.
The Association of Electronic Sports and Videogames of Argentina (DEVA) is a civil society organization dedicated to promoting and working towards the professionalization of Electronic Sports from a sports, educational and social or entertainment framework. DEVA is the great engine that promotes and develops electronic sports in the country, works based on the union as its main value and is dedicated to the professional development of electronic sports throughout the Argentine territory, promoting the knowledge of the benefits of practicing videogames.

The International Esports Federation has announced the PanAmerican Esports Confederation (PAMESCO), the European Esports Federation (EEF) and the African Esports Association (AESA) as the latest Continental Esports Federations to join the World Esports Family.
With the signing of these three regional federations, IESF has now unified all continents in the world. Driven by its values of unity, inclusion, and respect, IESF believes this kind of international cooperation will advance the growth of professional Esports, streamline organizational structure and support the development of smaller nations in the PanAmerican, European and African regions.

Also, with one of their partners, among the European leaders in terms of platform dedicated to gaming and eSports: NiceCactus , the team of Giga'Games - Guadeloupe eSports Federation, organizer, will provide all countries a dedicated environment through this platform, to make their qualifications in the same conditions of comfort and ergonomics for the GIGA'GAMES CANOC ESPORTS SERIES.
For these Caribbean Games GUADELOUPE 2022, 29 Caribbean Olympic Committees gathered around the biggest Caribbean multi-sports event through 7 traditional sports (Athletics, Basketball 3×3, Cycling, Futsal, Judo, Netball, Swimming) , and for the first time an associated international E-Sport component (not directly included in the Caribbean Games), through the CANOC ESPORTS SERIES Guadeloupe 2022, under the aegis of the Giga’Games Federation Guadeloupe of eSport.
