Casablanca (Morocco), June 27, 2023 - Following the success of its Constitutive General Assembly, the African Confederation of Digital Sports (ACDS) held the first meeting of its Executive Committee, marking an important step in achieving its ambitious objectives for digital sport in Africa. During this meeting, strategic partnership agreements were signed with continental confederations and renowned players in the Digital Sports industry around the world.
Recalling the election of Mr. Hicham EL KHLIFI as head of ACDS during the Constitutive General Assembly, this meeting brought together the members of the newly elected executive committee. These members, from different African countries, will bring diverse expertise and a strong commitment to the development of digital sport in Africa.
Here is the list of the 12 members of the new Executive Committee of the African Confederation of Digital Sports:
1. Kwesi Hayford - Ghana
2. Pamela Derom – Central Africa
3. Mbeumbue Marius - Cameroon
4. Mamadou Dioum – Senegal
5. Fred Katende - Uganda
6. Edrissa Barry - Gambia
7. Mohamed Coulibaly - Mali
8. Mahmoud Idriss – Sierra Leone
9. Medard Djeket – Benin
10. Mohamed Essamite – Morocco
11. Eleyeh Iltireh Daher – Djibouti
12. Issac A. Konneh – Liberia

On the sidelines of this meeting, the ACDS signed partnership agreements with internationally renowned institutions, thus strengthening its position on the world stage of digital sport. Strategic partnerships have been established with the following organizations:
* Pan American Electronic Sports Confederation (PAMESCO),
* Asian Electronic Sports Federation (AESF),
* China Electronics Chamber of Commerce (CECC),
* World Esports Consortium (Wesco).
These partnerships will allow ACDS to benefit from the expertise, resources and networks of these international institutions, thus promoting the development of digital sport in Africa and strengthening the continent's visibility on the world stage.
The members of the Executive Committee expressed their gratitude to Morocco for hosting the Constitutive General Assembly and expressed their satisfaction and commitment to work together for the success of ACDS. They highlighted the importance of collaboration and inclusion to achieve the goals of the organization and expressed their determination to make Africa a major player in the digital sports industry.
Mr. Hicham EL KHLIFI, President of ACDS, said: "The first meeting of the Executive Committee and the signing of these strategic partnerships represent a crucial step in our mission to promote and develop digital sport in Africa.
