First PAMESCO Pan American and Parapan American eSports Cup to be held in Amapá, Brazil, in July 2025

The Pan American eSports Confederation (PAMESCO) and the Brazilian eSports Confederation (CBDEL), with support from the World eSports Consortium (WESCO), are pleased to announce the First PAMESCO Pan American and Parapan American eSports Cup, which will take place in the city of Amapá, Brazil, during the month of July 2025.

This historic event will bring together the best eSports teams and players from across the American continent, from PAMESCO-affiliated National Federations and Associations, competing in a variety of eSports titles. The Cup not only seeks to foster high-level competition, but also to promote the integration and development of the e-sports community in the region.

"We are excited to bring this unprecedented event to Amapá. We believe it will be a milestone in the consolidation of e-sports in America and will offer a platform for emerging talents to shine on the international stage," said Alexander Ospina, president of PAMESCO.

"It is a moment of great happiness and a great responsibility that we have, so that we can offer an incredible experience for e-sports athletes from all over the American continent from PAMESCO. CBDEL is proud to have this responsibility together with PAMESCO, also having all the support from WESCO. Here the athletes will be ranked and have their careers valued in the correct way as in any sports category," said Daniel Cossi, president of CBDEL and CEO of WESCO.

"It is a source of great pride for the state of Amapá to receive athletes from all over the American continent in our Brazilian state. With PAMESCO, CBDEL and WESCO we will have the esports show” said Senator and Leader of the Government in the Assembly, Randolfe Rodrigues, representing the national government of Brazil.

In addition to the competitions, the Cup will include a series of parallel activities, such as workshops, conferences and exhibitions, aimed at educating and connecting players, developers, investors and fans. These initiatives seek to boost the sustainable growth of the esports industry in the Americas.

Starting in January 2025, qualifying events will begin across the continent to have the best athletes competing during this great event.
